ABOUT US
Our Mission
The chess club and afterschool program aims to introduce scholars of all grades to the fundamentals and deeper concepts of chess in an engaging, structured environment. Grouped by age and skill, participants will receive instruction through two-hour sessions that include lessons, puzzles, theory, gameplay, and analysis. The program fosters critical thinking, personal progress tracking, and strategic development. Students will also have access to online profiles to monitor their improvement. A typical session includes themed activities (e.g., tactical strategies like pins), live play, group discussions, and take-home study to reinforce learning. The club is equipped with all necessary chess materials and provides a quiet, supportive space for intellectual growth through chess.
